VILLA FABRIS

Villa Fabris, a jewel in the heart of Thiene, transformed into a shared heritage for all citizens.

THE INITIATIVE

Villa Fabris Bene Comune is a six-year project involving three partners dedicated to the redevelopment and regeneration of a magnificent space in the heart of Thiene. The consortium, led by Engim Veneto and composed of Cooperativa Samarcanda and ALDA+, aims to collaborate based on the principle of positive interdependence. Each partner retains autonomy in managing their activities and assigned spaces, but the consortium operates as a united team, where the success of each member is closely tied to the success of the others. This shared vision is rooted in the values guiding every step of the project:

Beauty represents the ability to be amazed by the world. It is not just an aesthetic ideal but an ethical principle that drives us to seek the good and the beautiful around us and within ourselves. With Villa Fabris, we aim to make beauty a central value.
Equity means respecting human dignity and human rights, fostering an inclusive environment that embraces and values uniqueness and diversity.

Our commitment goes beyond gender equality, working to break stereotypes and foster inclusive and sustainable development.
Action represents the value of diligence—a job done with hands, mind, and heart. We promote innovation through advanced pedagogical approaches and tools to develop key skills, providing new generations with opportunities for growth.
Care is our organisational and social principle. Caring for people, relationships, and spaces is essential. With Villa Fabris, we aim to turn care into a collective activity, where citizens and the administration work together to protect and enhance common goods.

Ultimately, the Villa Fabris Bene Comune project is a shared commitment to enhancing a symbolic place and promoting a fairer, more beautiful, and more supportive community.
